Discipleship Ministries cultivates followers of Jesus through gospel-centered small groups
where students are known, loved, and practice spiritual disciplines together.
The goal for each group is to deepen relationship with God, Scripture engagement,
prayer, accountability, support, spiritual growth, encouragement, and friendships.
DM includes Discipleship Small Groups (DSGs), Strongholds, and Upper Class DSGs.

DSG & UCDSG
The largest small group ministry on campus which aims to cultivate lifelong followers of Christ through the prayerful and communal reading of God's word, fellowship, and mutual discipleship. DSG (freshman/sophomore dorm/floor based) & UCDSG (upperclassmen) provide regular gatherings for people to come as they are and be reminded of the truths of the gospel and apply it to their lives. These groups occur once a week for about 90 minutes.
MALE & FEMALE STRONGHOLDS
Male Strongholds exists to equip students to encourage men to pursue Christlikeness through small groups focused on sexual stewardship and spiritual formation. It accomplishes this through authentic vulnerability, confession of sin, encouragement through prayer, and the restoration of a comprehensive worldview shaped by God’s Word.
Female Strongholds is a safe community of women on Wheaton’s campus dedicated to supporting one another as they grow in their understanding and practice of Biblical sexuality. Every Christian woman has experiences with sexuality, but many of them never feel safe to voice and tackle these experiences. Strongholds meet to practice vulnerability, celebrate overcoming temptation, discuss Gospel-centered sexuality, and lift one another up in prayer.
REFUGE DSG
This small group is a welcoming, Scripture-centered community for all students who: are navigating same-sex attraction or gender dysphoria; identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning, etc., or are otherwise seeking to integrate Christian faith with sexual and/or gender identity under the Lordship of Christ. Our meetings will focus on worship through hospitality, Scriptural engagement, prayer, lament, and community.
